Device Syncing
How do I sync my device?
- Once you’ve logged on to My Wellness, hover over your name in the right corner of the top navigation menu. In the drop-down menu, select Devices & Apps.
- Scroll down and locate the section on the page for the device or app that you’d like to connect. If a Connect button appears when you hover over the device or app, continue to step 3. If a Connect button doesn’t appear, click the name of the device or app and follow the steps in the pop-up box.
- Click Connect. You’ll be redirected to an application authorization page where you’ll need to enter your log-in details. Click Allow or Authorize.
- After the connection is made, you’ll be redirected back to the Devices & Apps page, where there should be a link icon in the top right corner of the section for the device that you just connected.
- Once the account for your device or app is linked to your Virgin Pulse account, you can sync your data to your Virgin Pulse account as often as you’d like. Virgin Pulse uses a notification system to pull any new data into your Virgin Pulse account as it becomes available. There may be a short delay.
Can I use an activity tracker to count my steps?
- Yes, My Wellness supports 30+ wearable fitness tracking devices, mobile apps, fitness machines and web portals. You can sync one of these to the My Wellness platform to have your steps and activity counted automatically.
If I don’t sync a device, can I enter steps manually?
- Yes, you can record steps manually either on the Virgin Pulse app or My Wellness by selecting the Tracking tab at the top of the page and entering activity for each day. Be sure to save your data. After you successfully enter your data and click Save, you’ll see it on the Tracking tab. You can go back and enter your steps for previous days. Just be sure to record activity for the week (Monday – Sunday) by the following Tuesday to be included with that week’s rankings

Can I sync my activity tracker to my bank-issued computer?
- Wearable devices will not sync with a Bank of America-issued computer, so you’ll have to use a personal computer or mobile device if you want to use an activity tracker. After you have registered and entered the challenge, you can sync your device in a few easy steps.
Is there a limit on how many steps I can count in one day?
- Yes, you can only track 60,000 steps in a single day.
